YaruGreat Commission Guide

Please, read the information below before commission an art from me ^^

General information

  • You must be over 18 years old to order a commission from me. This applies to both: SFW and NSFW arts.

  • I'm not interested in RP.

  • You have the right to personal non-commercial use of my work (as covers for your stories, prints or any other merchandise for yourself, etc.), but I'm the copyright owner and I have commercial rights on all my art.

  • I DON'T allow changes to my arts.

  • I DON'T make changes and DON'T finish the other artist's arts.

  • YOU CAN'T use my work for NFT.

  • I DON'T allow my work to be copied or traced for purposes other than educational (please, don't post the copied works of other artists as yours on the internet, this is really rude).

  • You YOU CAN publish my works in your socials, but only with the source links and, if possible, using my author's tag.

  • Let me know in advance if you don't want your commission to be published anywhere. I may refuse to do a private commission or ask you for additional payment.

  • If you want to make a commercial merchandiser with my art, then discuss it with me before I'll start to work at your commission.

How to commission me?

  1. You can find my approximate price list at this link.

  2. DM me and ask about commission, describing your idea. I prefer to receive messages via e-mail ([email protected]) or Discord (yaru.great), but you can also send a note to one of my socials. Please, be sure to check my TOS and prices before DM!

  3. I'll respond to you within one to two business days so that we can discuss the details of the future commission. As a rule, my commissions are always open, but I'll warn you in advance if for some reason I cannot take your commission right now.

  4. I'll start to work immediately after a payment. Valid options are full prepayment or 50/50 at your choice.

You are breathtaking! <З

Payment

  • You can see my current rates here.

  • I don't have an exact price-list for every occasion, and my price list is periodically supplemented/corrected. If you want anything other than full body with a simple background, then, please, contact me and describe what you want to get. This way I'll be able to tell you the exact price. Hopefully I'll get more commissions at the future and will make more complete price-list, but for now - excuse me for inconvenience ^^"

  • I accept two payment options: full prepayment or 50/50 (50% at the beginning, 50% after the finished work). Let me know in advance which option is preferable for you.

  • I accept payment through several services:

  • No refunds, if I already started to work on commission and there have been no delays on deadlines by more than a month on my part. Also some services may not let me to make a refund (like a Boosty).

  • Btw, I like to draw covers for fanfictions and apocalyptic/FoE-themed stuff, so I can give you a discount on such drawings.

  • Also I'll for sure give you a 20% discount if you are going to commission me a comic longer than 10 pages.

Working process

Working stages

  1. Rough sketches, from 2 to 4. Sometimes with lighting/color variations, sometims no. At this point you can make significant changes to almost anything: pose, colors, atmosphere of the picture, refine certain details, and so on.

  • A comic page, up to your choice, may be started either with several thumbnails to roughly imagine the future composition of the page, or directly with a single sketch to which the necessary edits will be made.

  1. Line. At this point you can't make any major changes to the pose, but I can tweak some medium and small details.

  2. Colouring. Any changes related to color are appropriate.

  3. Render. As a rule, after this stage, the work is considered completely finished. I can make minor changes or add small details, but nothing more. Among other things, the overall color of the work or the colors of its individual elements may be changed.

Wips & Changes

  • I'll send you WIPs for each stage of work (sketch, line, colour, render/final work) for review and corrections. If you want to see the current progress - don't be hesitate to ask me about WIPs separately, please!

  • For each step I can make related edits (see above for details).

  • I am ready to correct my mistakes regarding the incorrect display of your character and etc. However, it is advisable to report them at the early stages of work.

  • Substantial edits other than those listed above may need some additional charges.

Deadlines

  • Discussed separately for each artwork and directly depend on its complexity and my workload.

  • For simple arts (without a background, or/and in a cartoonish style, etc.) the deadline is about 1-2 weeks. For more complex ones - up to 3-5.

  • Let me know in advance if you need a drawing by a specific date! It is possible that I can complete your commission faster for a some additional fee or for free.

Completed Work

  • You will receive a full-size PNG of the finished piece: version for publication with my links and version for personal use without my links.

  • I DON'T provide any sources of my works (.sai, .psd, .clip files and so on).

  • I have the right to post finished commissions (except for private ones) as examples for future work. Posts may credit the commissioner if you'd like to.

  • If you want to use the picture as a cover or banner, then I am happy to cut it to the required size or/and add a title and other captions to it!

  • However, I recommend you to warn me in advance that you want specifically the cover, so that I leave space for the title from the very beginning.

  • Warn me in advance if you need an image of a particular size/resolution.
